It's Personal

We have lived in our current home for three years.
The entire time my room has sat undecorated.
I decided it was high time
to get some personal sewing done!

I looooooove this bedding........

But it might have too much pattern for my small master bedroom.
Plus, it's sold out anyway.

So I'm busy at work making some
pillow shams that have a similar vibe.

I'm using assorted Denise Schmidt fabrics, mostly from Jo Ann's.
For my quilty shams I used Alison's simple tutorial.

I also dig these Euro shams but I need them in a calmer color.

aaaaaand I don't want to pay $210 for three of them.
Phew!  I'm glad I know how to sew.

  1. WOW. $210? You could make three in one afternoon for about $21 if you played the fabric sales right. I love the start of your shams. I thought I could resist that Blossom Reel large floral, but now I'm not so sure.

  2. That teal color is so pretty. Your shams are going to be lovely with the pattern you have chosen
